WP6 is dedicated to ensuring the scientific and technical quality of the DataScEd4CiEn project through systematic monitoring and evaluation. It plays a key role in assessing the effectiveness of the project’s methodologies, didactics, and technological tools, ensuring their relevance and impact on teaching and learning.

Objectives of WP6

  • Evaluate the quality of the developed materials and tools (e.g., learning scenarios, course modules, platform).
  • Assess how the professional development course and STEAM scenarios are adapted in different national contexts and their implications for the project framework.
  • Measure the impact of the DataScEd4CiEn program on teachers’ professional knowledge and students’ learning potential and engagement.

WP6 is closely linked to other work packages, particularly WP2 (conceptual framework), WP3-WP5 (development and implementation), and WP7 (dissemination). Its findings will inform refinements to the project’s methodology and contribute to a broader research dialogue on data science education.

Main Results of WP6

Project Evaluation Plan – Outlining evaluation procedures, tools, and criteria.
Ongoing Data Collection & Analysis – Using surveys, interviews, and observations to monitor progress.
Interim & Final Evaluation Reports – Assessing the impact of professional development and STEAM scenarios across partner countries.
External Evaluator Feedback – Incorporating expert recommendations to strengthen project outcomes.

Through WP6, DataScEd4CiEn will demonstrate its impact, ensuring that the project meets its objectives and contributes meaningful advancements in data science education for civic engagement and social justice.
