We looked at the ‘economy ‘ scenario. I think the social justice was really highlighted in the gapminder data with the pictures. I could see chikldren in my class connecting with the picture – as they say ‘a picture tells a 1000 stories’. The pictures of differennt toothbrushes really made poverty visible in a way the number data cant. Also i had always thought of the A in STEAM as music and visual art but I can see now how it can be liberal arts and literature/poetry and how you could enhance a scenario by drawing on those.
