Post in the forum your reasoning about the questions that you have selected to analyze the scenario. Inform about the scenario that you have chosen and which are the reasons for choosing it.
I chose Scenario 2, “Design Thinking: Droughts! no?”, because it tackles the pressing issue of water scarcity, a clear example of social injustice that disproportionately affects vulnerable communities. This scenario brings together science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) to help students aged 13 to 16 explore drought from different angles, using design thinking to generate practical and creative solutions. Through data practices such as analyzing rainfall trends and activities focused on empathy, students are encouraged to take civic action. Beyond academic learning, the scenario fosters global awareness and social responsibility, which I found especially meaningful as it empowers students to become active contributors to solving real-world problems.
Basándonos en una clase de naturales en la que vemos que una sequía ocurre cuando no llueve durante mucho tiempo y eso afecta a las plantas, los animales y a las personas. El uso de gráficos y datos simples Como por ejemplo :contar cuántos días llovió cada mes y comparar con otros años.
Gracias a esos datos, podemos ver que algunos meses llueve menos que antes, y eso nos ayuda a cuidar mejor el agua. Aprender que, si analizamos bien la información, podemos tomar buenas decisiones, como cerrar el grifo al lavarnos los dientes o regar de manera controlada.
Así, con la ayuda de los datos, podemos decir: ¿Sequías? ¡No! Porque estamos aprendiendo a prevenirlas desde ahora.
