STEAM education centered on data has allowed me to appreciate how integrating data science can foster civic engagement by empowering students to analyze and address real-world problems. My initial perception of STEAM was more technical, but this approach revealed its transformative potential to develop critical and ethical decision-making skills. I learned how data, when presented effectively, can make a significant impact on the community.
