    Data-focused STEAM education is a supposed to be an effective resource for fostering civic engagement, especially for students with special educational needs. My experience in the training program has transformed my initial perception, showing me how data science can be inclusive and accessible. I have learned about the importance of tailoring activities so that all students can contribute and express themselves. The dynamics of the course have sparked new questions in me about how to effectively integrate data science into civic projects. However, I am intrigued by the challenge of customizing these experiences to meet the diverse needs of my students.
