WP7 is dedicated to effectively communicating and disseminating all project activities and results of the DataScEd4CiEn initiative. The primary goal is to maximize the project’s visibility, engage with diverse stakeholders, and cultivate interest in Data Science Education in STEAM for Civic Engagement and Social Justice.
Key Objectives of WP7:
- Develop a Dissemination and Exploitation Plan: Establish clear milestones, allocate responsibilities among partners, and outline both online and offline tools and materials for effective dissemination.
- Share Project Developments and Results: Ensure continuous communication of project progress and outcomes to stakeholders, including students, teachers, and the scientific community.
- Foster Synergy with Other EU-Funded Projects: Collaborate with similar initiatives to enhance impact and avoid duplication of efforts.
- Identify Collaboration Opportunities: Recognize needs and areas of common interest to build a network in the field of data science education.
- Organize Multiplier Events and Dissemination Activities: Host events to build communities and create an international network of practitioners in data science education.
Main Results of WP7:
- Comprehensive Dissemination Plan: A strategic plan detailing milestones and actions to make project results visible and attractive to target groups, while identifying collaboration opportunities.
- Publication and Media Presence: Release press articles, newsletters, and maintain a robust social media presence to establish contacts with researchers and practitioners.
- Conference Presentations: Coordinate the presentation of project activities and outcomes at national and international conferences, workshops, and webinars to increase visibility and gather valuable feedback.
- Publications: Aim for publications in conference proceedings, peer-reviewed scientific journals, teacher magazines, and books to disseminate findings widely.
- Multiplier Events: Organize events in each partner country (Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Spain) to promote project aims, results, and impact. These events will include plenaries, presentations, workshops, and discussion panels, providing platforms for sharing and discussing project outcomes.
- DataScEd4CiEn Platform: Develop a platform to provide open access to all project outputs and host social communication tools, fostering a European community of “Data Science Educators” for ongoing networking and professional development beyond the project lifetime.
