Participating in this module changed the way I see STEAM education. In the past, I thougth that STEAM is the same as STEM with the addition of the arts to foster creativity. Through this training, I realized how powerful a data-centered approach can be in helping students connect learning with real issues. I was impressed by how working with authentic data can give students a sense of purpose and responsibility. It made me reflect on how learning can move beyond the classroom. At the same time, I find myself wondering how to balance teaching data skills with maintaining creativity and meaningful student engagement.
