On Tuesday, 19 May 2026, the Spanish multiplier event of the DataScEd4CiEn project was successfully held at Colegio La Salle–Buen Consejo in Puerto Real, Cádiz, Spain.
The event brought together primary and secondary education teachers and focused on promoting Data Science education from a STEAM perspective, with particular emphasis on civic engagement and social justice. Participants had the opportunity to explore innovative learning scenarios developed within the project and discuss how digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence can support Data Science teaching in schools.
The programme included presentations of the project’s theoretical framework and educational scenarios, as well as a hands-on workshop on the use of digital and AI-supported tools used within the project, including CODAP (Common Online Data Analysis Platform). During the workshop, participants engaged with activities involving data analysis, predictive models, and real-world problem-solving using authentic datasets.
The multiplier event ran from 17:00 to 19:30 and provided an excellent opportunity for educators, researchers, and teacher educators to exchange ideas and experiences related to STEAM education and innovative teaching practices.
